Help Power the Revolution for Climate Action

Project

The Climate Reality Project was founded in 2005 by Nobel Laureate and former US Vice President Al Gore and launched its first major campaign in 2007 in the wake of momentum created by the Academy Award-winning film An Inconvenient Truth.

Today, at Climate Reality, we’re working to drive a planet-wide turning point on climate change and build overwhelming popular support for high-level policy measures to address the crisis. With support for climate action growing in every time zone and with world leaders reaching a global agreement to cut greenhouse gas emissions last December, the planet has a historic opportunity to shift away from dirty fossil fuels and create a healthy and sustainable future powered by clean energy.

We work to seize this opportunity by translating the singular vision of Vice President Gore into a dynamic suite of twenty-first century initiatives and events that raise awareness and share the message of climate hope with audiences across continents and catalyze action for solutions.
