Global Ecovillage Summit 2014
GEN Africa

The agenda of the summit will weave different threads of the Ecovillage design dimensions: ecology, economy, social, culture and participatory design.

The ministry of environment and the Senegalese National Agency for Ecovillages will inaugurate the opening ceremony. The opening will also be an opportunity for many stakeholders in Senegal, Africa and the world to explore the Ecovillage movement through GEN.

During the following days the participants will formulate the strategic steps for the Ecovillage movement to disseminate and implement the Ecovillage transition process on community level, as well as replicating and scaling this new holistic model of sustainable development.
