Help our Commitment Ceremony be Carbon Conscious

Danielle and Hassan will be engaging in a rite of commitment to one another on August 28, 2016. We want this rite to be steeped in a weekend of ceremony, fun, and connection with our dearly beloved web of friends and family. 

In our daily life, we strive to live in a way that is gentle on the earth and creates more balance among the ecosystems, instead of less. We live at Dancing Rabbit Ecovillage, which prioritizes sustainability and earth-conscious choices. We realize that there will be an increased ecological impact by having our commitment ceremony away from home, in a place where most of our friends and family will have to travel long distances to join us.

Therefore, we want to contribute funds ourselves to support solutions and address the causes & impacts of anthropogenic climate change and environmental degradation. Whether you are traveling by train, plane, or car (bikers and walkers will get super special eco-awards!) we invite you to join us by donating via our Earth Deeds account. The money will go towards projects we believe are helping create an ecologically happy, socially just, life revitalized, thriving Earth.
