This course will provide students with a unique opportunity to explore business and culture of two major economies in Asia: China and South Korea. Students will visit historical sites such as the Great Wall of China, the Korean Demilitarized Zone, and royal palaces of two countries, listen to talks given by local experts, and engage in traditional rituals with local college students. In addition, presentations given by business leaders at multinational companies including Samsung Electronics, Tsingtao Brewery and Hyundai Motors will facilitate students to learn distinctive business culture and its impact on the best business practices which have become a driving force of economic growth for these two countries. Finally, students will have metropolitan experiences in Beijing, Busan, Seoul, and Qingdao.
