CISabroad is committed to leading by example in integrating environmental awareness and responsibility into our daily operations and overseas programs. We are proud to partner with Earth Deeds to understand and transform the Greenhouse Gas Emissions generated by your round-trip flight overseas. For 2013, we
- measured the emissions from each of our programs (see below for breakdown),
- understand that the Social Cost of Carbon of emitting this carbon is $37/mT, and
- donated $12,000 to sustainability projects at 10 of our host sites.
We look forward to engaging students around their emissions in 2014 and contributing funds to even more projects.
