Sun Eaters Organics is dedicated to producing high quality local food products in Trinidad and Tobago. With a team of volunteers, it is establishing a model farm on 15 acres of land. The farm will be used for ongoing training of local farmers in the skills required to replicate the traditional polyculture food forest system in the modern context. Donationswill be used to offset some of the costs for irrigation, solar panels and batteries, seeds and seedlings of traditional crops, tools, and pond liners.

We strive to ensure a school learning environment that is conducive to safe and harmonious interaction amongst learners, parents and teachers. We strive to provide quality education in order to prepare all learners to be well balanced and fully equipped in their quest for adulthood and productive citizenship. In the process we will continue to optimise our learners’ skills, abilities and individual talents while broadening their perspectives. It is our aim to strive for continued teaching excellence and to ensure an environment of appreciated discipline and order. Finally we will always strive to maintain a policy of optimising our school’s financial resources, continually upgrading our facilities and ensuring meaningful child and parent involvement.

The MECN maintains scientific collections for the purpose of biological-ecological study and research, and the exhibition collections that are tools for Environmental Education and the consolidation of knowledge on this subject, which are taught in schools in a formal way. The exhibition collections are managed and maintained by the Educational Dissemination Unit, while the scientific collections are under the responsibility of the Technical-Scientific Department through the Administration of Collections of flora and fauna.
